Jill Connick - Director   Jill worked as an actress for fifteen years before studying law to become a barrister.

As a co-director of AIM Associates Drama, she combines the creativity of acting and a deep understanding of character and human motivation with the forensic skills of a lawyer to bring focus, energy and clarity to AIM's programmes.

Jill is responsible for new business development and client liaison. Since AIM started in 1995 Jill has accumulated a wealth of experience in working with people from organisations in many different sectors. As well as leading teams on most of AIM’s programmes, Jill also specialises in working one-to-one at a senior level helping people to recognise their response patterns to difficult situations, and working with them to discover different options of dealing with them.
Edward Harbour - Director   Since 1995 Edward has worked extensively in the business world, for public as well as private sector organisations. In 1995 he co-founded Actors In Management with Jill Connick, re-branded as AIM Associates Drama in 2002, which has become one of the leading companies of its kind in the UK.

Edward is an honours graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He is an actor, singer, theatre director and writer and has been a member of both the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre.

He has written hundreds of scripts for live performance and video for use in corporate learning environments, designed to reflect aspects of human behaviour and to serve as reference points for learning and development. He is also a skilled facilitator and has worked for client organisations throughout the UK, Europe and the US. In 2002 his work won The Lawyer Award for Best Creative Programme, for a learning and development programme created for use within the insurance sector.

He continues to develop, through AIM, the role of drama in helping people deal with the complexities of life at work, and in 2011 he formed The Open Arena to focus on improving the way creativity is regarded and utilised in organisations by finding ways to increase the flow of creative ideas to support strategic goals. He specialises in finding and researching points in history to stand as metaphors for contemporary issues.

Associates   We have a team of carefully selected specialists in role play, facilitation and workshop leading, all with a professional acting background, and often with additional professional expertise in business, law, medicine, accountancy, etc.
